Welcome to the North Canberra Netball Competition (NCNC), proudly managed by the Canberra Netball Association and the Belconnen Netball Association. Our vibrant competition takes place on Saturdays, on outdoor courts located in Lyneham and Charnwood, running from March through September each year.

We offer a range of divisions to suit players of all ages and skill levels:

  • Seniors (Opens): For players 16 years and above, including women, spanning Divisions 1 through 6.

  • Cadets (Mixed & Girls Comp): Catering to 16 to 18-year-old girls and boys (Years 10-12) across Divisions 1 to 5.

  • Intermediates (Mixed & Girls Comp): Designed for 13 to 15-year-old girls and boys (Years 7-9) with Divisions 1 through 9.

  • Juniors: Engaging 11 to 12-year-old boys and girls (Years 5-6) in Divisions 1 through 6.

  • SET Tier: Tailored for 7 to 8-year-olds (girls & boys) with Divisions 1 and 2.

  • GO Tier: Perfect for 9 to 10-year-olds (girls & boys) offering Divisions 1 and 2.

  • NET SKILLS Program: Introducing 5 to 7-year-olds to the joys of netball. Ideal for newcomers in Kindergarten to Year 1, running at 9:30 am at Lyneham Courts for a 10-week program.

Please note that timings for specific categories and divisions may vary each season due to court availability and team numbers. Our competition day typically runs from 8:30 am to 4 pm.

While the NCNC winter competition is managed by our associations, team formation and registration are organized through clubs and participating schools.

Join a Club

Discover an array of outstanding clubs and schools in the North Canberra area where you can join and compete in the NCNC Saturday competition. Entry into a team is exclusively through a club or participating school. Once you become a member, they can nominate you for the various levels of competition, including SET/GO Tiers, Juniors, Intermediates, Cadets, and Seniors.
